Center Console Safe, Anyone?

I didn't ask for it with my Yukon AT4, but I got it because it was one of the featured options on the window sticker. My only problem now is this: How do I set the combination and operate the damn thing? ...The safe is not in the GMC manual, it didn't come with instructions (inside the safe), and my salesman is unsure if the mechanic that installed it even remembers the combination or if it had instructions... So what should I do (aside from removing it - last option)?

Did you try the obvious combos like 0000, 9999, 1234?

vehicle was brand new and this accessory was installed prior to delivery? If so, GM warranty is same as your 3/36 bumper to bumper…GM has to make it right, head to nearest dealer and they have to help.

Mine was set to 0000. The instructions to change it were inside. Why anyone would mess with it, I don't know. The procedure to change the number precludes an "accidental" reset.

The "0000" worked. Now I have to get it to a GMC dealership to have them take a look at it and reprogram the code.

Yesterday, I also noticed some thin spots of the paint in the driver side door jams, so I'll have them take a look at that too. Thanks for the help.

Escalade has it, not sure if anyone could swap the Escalade console in
