Changing trans cooler & oil cooler line, need to drain system?

Hello tahoeyukonforum!

Quick question before I replace the trans cooler lines (passenger side) and the oil cooler lines (drivers side). Do I need to drain the trans & oil completely before doing this? I assume it will be leaking from the attachment points on the engine block side right?

Is there a trick to doing this or should I plan for an oil change and trans fluid change while I'm doing this?

You can do it without draining the oil/trans. fluid. It may leak a little, nothing to be worried about.
