I run a Audiopipe 2000.1 in my Yukon on 4 Sundown SA-12's. Lots of people complain how that amp clips too much and overheats. I had a problem with the same thing running stock electrical on a poorly done big 3. I now have a big 5, 240 amp Mechman alternator, and a AGM up front and barely any drop. Running budget amps in fine but you better have good electrical to back it up. At 1 ohm I've never had it go into protect. Anyone having issues with those amps doesn't know how to tune and has bad electrical.
