'check tire monitoring system'?

All wheel sensors have been replaced within the past year and I just had them tested and all verified as working....but I keep getting 'service tire monitor' message on my dash. I have a 2005 Tahoe LT 4x4 with 115,000 miles...any ideas on what is causing this?

All tires are verified at the proper pressures and all wheel sensors were scanned and validated as working. If one of my tires was low, I would get a yellow low tire pressure light...and I'm not getting this warning now (no yellow flat/low tire light) just the text message in the DIC. Thank you for your input....Please provide more input or suggestions if you can. Thanks again.

Oh ok... Is it very cold where you are? Does the message stay on the DIC? The reason I ask is because a couple of weeks ago I had the same issue and it would only do it first thing in the morning when it was well below freezing. By the time I would get to work (25-30 min) it would go away. I didn't get the yellow warning light either just the DIC message.

I have the same thing on mine, I think njo4hoe is probably right, seems to only come on when cold. I have a buddy that mentioned the same thing on his and eventually they fixed it under warranty, I'll shoot him a text and see what it was.

Same thing for me and my '07 LT. Mine started happening right after I got my HID lights installed. Maybe it's a signal problem from the ballasts to the tire pressure monitors?

Quick update - problem solved today. After going to the local Discount Tire store twice to recheck each TPMS wheel sensor was in working order (by scanning each tire with their pro scanning tool), it turns out that my passenger side rear wheel was not sending a signal (dead battery/sensor). $55 later and the sensor has now been replaced. They rescanned each wheel into the TPMS system and magically the 'service tire monitoring system' message is now gone from the DIC. Hope this info helps...was a little frustrating trying to troubleshoot the troubleshooter! Thanks.
