chevy emblems question

Guys I need help with purchasing some emblems on ebay. It says i have to remove the chrome part of the emblem on the truck.... has any of you had any experience with this? Can I just remove the black and gold part of the emblem in the front and the gold part in the back? Please let me know.....

The gold part is glued on. Complete emblem replacement.

Thanks.... Do you know where I can get some emblems that would just stick on with double side tape? The gold trip in the front and back can be remove fairly easily....

What are you trying to do with them? The emblem comes off fairly easily also.

I'm trying to find an easy way of changing my emblem for the front grill.... Like the back one which you can pry off the gold part easily. I don't want to unscrew anything cause I'm an idiot when it comes to it....

You are gonna have to remove (2) nuts from the back side of the front bowtie...it isn't real hard.
