Chipped Paint from Decals

When I was removing the Tahoe decals i ripped some of the paint from underneath where the decals were. I do not want to have to pay for the whole door to be repainted. The paint is starting to peel slightly. I would like to know what my options are. I just want to make sure it doesnt rust and that fixing it will stop the spread of it chipping.
