Chrome Bottoms or Chrome top OEM cover?

Which covers should I get the chrome top OR bottom? I painted my whole mirror white. Let me know what you guys think.

NICE Tahoe! The only covers you can buy OEM alone are the top, but saving up for Escalade mirrors are worth it.

Yours will look better than most if you got the aftermarket lower covers, though! I don't like how they stop before they reach that part on the door, but since your plastic is now white, it will be less noticeable.

Oh and get that Esky roof rack!

Thanks. I knowwww i've actually been on the hunt for a good deal on the esky roof rack. No luck yet. I just went to my friends house who bought the covers and was putting new 3M tape on it because they were peeling off, so when he took them off I lightly placed them on mine just to see how the covers would look and to take a picture. I think they look good but you are so right-- the real escalade mirrors KILL these. I am trying to find a good deal on those too. My next purchase/FIRST priority though-- the roof rack.

Yeah, no doubt, those OEM mirrors will look perfect on your truck - which looks SICK btw. Get those two things and it'll look perfect. Have you thought about the Escalade 3rd brake?

Thanks haha I got all the ideas from you and others on this forum! Yea I haven't bought those chrome covers yet because i'm debating whether to get the oem escalade mirrors or just the covers. My friend paid $34 for those covers! They are cheap and look great but i'm not convinced. I have yet to see any Summit White painted used escalade mirrors. Most of the used ones on ebay are the Diamond/Pearl White so I would have to get them professionally painted too. And I already got the mirrors painted so it seems like such a waste to dispose of perfectly painted mirrors. Just can't make up my mind...

And yes I thought about the LED 3rd brake light, but that link you sent me of the one on ebay for $95 is only the LED light itself. The tahoe's part that is painted the color of the car on top of the 3rd brake light is totally different then an escalades. I was looking at my friends escalade and it just doesn't match up side by side. I know you have it and you said it is a direct replacement but did you have to buy some sort of housing or add-on piece for it? I'm definitely thinking about doing this!

My list of upcoming mods chronologically: esky roof rack, esky mirrors, esky bumper with new trailer hitch cover/chrome trim step pad, volant cai

Anything else missing on the mod list? oh and btw, my friends got the rims you like on a sierra denali.. I want them so bad but it would look pretty stupid if I had the same rims as one of my best friends.. so i've been considering the chrome stock 22s that come on the escalade and putting on a chevy center cap

It does need a separate housing, but it wasn't any more than the brake light itself.

Hell I wouldn't care if my friend had those rims, I'd still buy them! They look so awesome. Unfortunately there are no Chevy center caps for those Escalade 22's but you can still get blank ones.

I'm diggin' the color matched mirrors. They look much better without the chrome bottoms you were trying out.

I can relate to that...I'm on the hunt for the same. Just can't justify spending $300-$400 for a roof rack. It is one of those things I keep a lookout for and eventually will stumble onto a good deal.

Where would you get this separate housing and what is the part called exactly?
Man you are right I should just get them! but first I'd have to sell my factory 20s! (which I love too btw...). And I don't really like those escalade oem 22s with blank center caps (except for PACE's denali blacked out) in chrome.

On ebay they have the ones you like with chevy caps included! No tires though... The center cap has the chevy logo outlines in black and that's it... they are so clean. Are you ever going to get different rims on yours?

I got it from GMPartsDirect.com, it's a spoiler. I didn't know you could get chevy center caps.

Check out my sig, though, I photoshopped the CK375's onto my Tahoe.

Thanks! It's a work in progress... Before I got this, I had an 01 Dark Green Z71 Tahoe and had just blacked out the logos, painted my stock oem 17" rims flat black, and got some goodyear wrangler mud terrains with kevlar right after I took this pic. Then I sold it directly after.. I kinda miss it, but it was time for a change/different look, ya know. This is definitely the polar inverse of my last car so I think after I get the roof rack/bumper/mirrors/3rd brake light, then my exterior mods will finally be done! I also can't justify spending that much money just for looks... I feel the same way!! I'm not getting one until I find an AMAZING deal.
