Chrome like trim Denali

When cleaning and detailing my 2013 xl denali, what should i use on the chrome trim? should i treat it like chrome or like the chrome plastic that it probably is? im new to cleaning my own vehicle (always just did the drive thru washes) and i want to make sure i dont use something i shouldnt on the trim. im assuming the trim is chrome plastic on the lettering as well as the running boards. so far ive just kept wax and nevr dull off of it. thanks

I'm using the Turtle Wax Ice for the plastic trims outside and it works well.

i have some of the ice spray. ill use that on it. thanks for the replies....
