Chrome Top Edge Door Mouldings?

I like the look of the door moulding that has the chrome strip on the top edge. I haven't seen that on ebay and am looking for suggestions on where to purchase those. Also, how hard is it to remove my current all black door mouldings? I don't want to ruin the paint while taking them off. Thanks.

I'm interested in this as well. I'd like to remove mine with the chrome strip and either go to all black or maybe leave them off. One of my doors has some scratches on the chrome strip from some previous owner idiot who apparently used steel wool to buff the doors.....

The only thing I can find on ebay is the chrome strip that gets added to the door moulding. I don't really like that solution.

well maybe the 2 of you could swap moldings since one person has chrome and the other wants all black. The chrome strip moldings are the denali moldings and would prolly be easiest found at the dealership or a junk yard possibly.

I have never done it but in my readings on this forum it seems to be held on with a 2 sided adhesive tape of some sort. Some of the people that have removed theirs may be able to shed more info on that. Sorry

Yeah nobody would want mine as one of them is scratched. Looks like I will be hitting up a dealer for the all black moldings.
