locating it and pulling it off

hard to see the carbon build up..but its the

and while i was there as might as well clean the intake

What is the iac? and how did you clean the intake? I would be afriad of stuff falling into the open intake. or should I not worry about it

just use carb cleaner. and unless you have massive chunks of carbon you will be fine... Idle Air Control valve

after the egr and iac....huge difference in throttle response....enjoy!!!

Wow, first smooth as MARGARINE with the egr and now smooth as BUTTER with the iac ..... LOL

Just meesing with you , great write ups though... I recently replaced my motor and it still runs kinda ruff, maybe cleaning these two things will help....

Gonna clean this and the EGR this spring for sure. She's got 150k+ miles and I'm sure neather has ever been cleaned.
