I have this clicking noise that only happens when I start my Tahoe. It clicks about 12 times then it goes away. I was able to locate the clicking but not sure what this module/device is. It's half silver/metal and half black. It has electrical plug going to it and it seems to have some sort of wheel that rotates when you start the engine. It appears the wheel gets stuck while trying to rotate and thats when the clicking starts. I've posted pics of it. Does anyone know what this module/device is called?? Thanks for any help!

the camera was a little too close for me to tell for sure but it looks like it is for the HVAC system. I think it's an actuator. It's either the one that directs the air to the desired vents or for the fresh air/recirculate. Have you noticed the noise when you're messing with the a/c?
this might help. it's not for a tahoe but you'll get the idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABRG1Vh8igE

Thanks Ryan! I think you may be correct. I don't get the clicking sound when I turn on the AC, however, the AC will blow out cold air with good pressure for about 1 minute then it barely blows out cold air from the vents.

It's most definitely the Blend Door Actuator..

From TahoeForum: "The temperature blend door actuator has lost it's calibration. All you have to do to reset it is turn the HVAC controls off, front and rear. Disconnect the battery under the hood for at least 1 minute. Reconnect the battery and then start the vehicle. DO NOT touch the HVAC controller for at least another 1-2 minutes. The system will relearn all the actuator door stops and this should take care of your problem."
