We just purchased a 2004 Yukon Denali with only 33k original miles and the factory BOSE system without NAV, with both single CD/Tape and CD changer. We thought we were getting a great deal, but we've since found many things wrong with this truck (a whole other story). The most irritating thing is there is a clicking sound from the middle of the dash - it is intermittent but happens often. Sometimes it will go for a few minutes, sometimes you drive and never hear it. It does not seem to be a blend door issue (i've messed with the AC controls extensively and cannot make it start or stop), but I saw a thread stating the factory disc changer sometimes is defective and will constantly change through discs all on its own. We do not currently have any discs in the changer, so I was thinking maybe it was just clicking because it was trying to find/ change through discs. The changer does play fine with discs in it. The factory radio single CD in dash is also defective (does not accept discs) so if this one is borked I guess I'll just disconnect it and we won't listen to CDs. Any information is appreciated.
