Climate Control problem

Hey guys

Have an 08 Yukon Denali XL. Recently, the climate control has its own memory. Every time it starts up, the climate control defaults to both driver and passenger sides at 74 degrees. Also the passenger side and auxiliary for the back seats is on also.

It never used to do this. If the heat or a/c was shut off when you turned the vehicle off, it stayed off when you started it up. And I believe if you had the drivers side on when you shut if off, the drivers side would come on at the same temp that was set when it shut off.

Any possible solutions ?

Just wanted to give an update. Over the weekend, it appeared my battery was going bad. I had it tested and it in fact was bad. I replaced the battery and since then, the HVAC system has been working fine. I believe this whole issue could have been a side effect of the battery not powering everything correctly. Just wanted to let everyone know in case you run into the same issue, it could be related to the battery.
