When I am backing out of the garage slow with the wheels turned, I hear a single *clunk* noise from the front suspension. Any ideas?

maybe check ball joints, tie rod ends and make sure your lugs are tight

I had the same Just fixed mine. Was a motor mount and a wheel alignment did the trick.

Never mind. I thought it was good. It just did it again.

I don't know if this helps but with me, it always did it with my 26" wheels. I had my stock 17s on for a month while inbetween getting new wheels and it never did it once. It ended up being the bigger wheels rubbed against my eibach (bigger) sway bar on full lock reversing and it caused a clunk on the end link. Tightening the the end link made it less pronounced but the bigger bar does not fit as 'factory' as the oem bar and there is always a tiny bit of play which causes the clunk in mine. The smaller wheels don't hit the bar and no clunk. You can see on mine that the tire rubbed the paint off the bar too. I can live with it.

Mine used to do that a lot. Then I went to get an alignment and they found my front driver's side bearing was really bad. I replaced the bearing and I haven't heard another clunk sound for about 3 months now. It used to do it 2 or 3 times a week.

Put wheel in air. No load.

Grab top and bottom of tire and try to rock back and forth. Any movement is a bad bearing.

Also rotate tire to different areas as the bearing tolerance varies sometimes.

^ Yes exactly. Mine had a lot of play. As for noise, I really didn't hear anything other than the occasional "clunk".
