I have a 2007 Yukon that was lowered at the dealership when I bought it. Within the past couple of months or so I have been hearing a clunking sound when I go over speed bumps or when I brake. It sounds as if the spare tire was loose and hitting underneath the truck. So I finally got around to look and the spare tire is secure. Anyone have ideas on what else I can check? I checked on the site and didn't find anyone with the same problems. Thanks for your help. I would take it back to the dealership but the warrant is up and they charge an arm and a leg.

What type of drop is it?
If it just started, I bet its shock extender hardware or trailing arm relocator hardware causing it.
Those bolts like to find a way to fall off.

I gotta look it up with my paper work when I bought the car. I will lift it up and take a look. Thanks for the tip.

Don't need to jack it up. Just look under to where the shoxks conncet and see if there is a metal piece connected to one end of the extendere, while the other end connects to the normal shock bolt holes.

I actually have the same issue, I did the leveling lift kit from rough country and when the back end pops back up from a bump or dip it make a clunk type of noise. I have an 01 yukon.

If its not the extenders, it could be the coils were not installed properly/seated in right (both of yall).
