Is the message center in the cluster only on year model 99-02?

I have it on my 03

I have the DIC in my '05.

This is what US Speedo wrote:
"The left side only has icons behind that area.
The older models have a message center there. 99-02 Models."

Mine is a 2003, so it does not have it. Strange that yours do.
Sure it looks like in this picture? (The message center to the left, where a battery is shown.)

My DIC (driver information center) in my '05 looks like this. It does not have the "message center" on the far left.

My mistake. I have the dic in the center and no "message center" to the left.
