My Wife got Cricut Maker for Christmas....for those not familiar, it allows for print and cutting on vinyl adhesive (among other things).

If got me thinking I could make a very custom overlay for the instrument cluster including all cutouts, labels, etc......

Is there any chance anyone has an overlay and a scanner that could make me a scanned image? Could be in a couple of pieces (I expect the scanner isn't large enough to handle the entire overlay at once).

I'm happy to share any of the templates back with the forum when I get some done...

Cheers,
Rob

I dont have anything that will help. But my wife has one too and makes allmsorts of things. One thing ive noticed with her projects with vinyl is that heat has a nasty effect on it. Either causing peeling or shrinkage with heat cycles. Not sure how being in a cluster during summer would treat it, but just some food for thought if you try this idea.
