OBS Mad Scientist
Has anyone ever done a bi fuel vortec 350? I know its not difficult on the 6.0 ls motors, but the vortec has a spider instead of individual injectors. I was doing some reading sayin that it should be similar to a direct port nitrous injection setup which seems doable.
The other big issue ive found would be tank placement as I wouldnt want to lose all of my hatch space id be limited to either one or two small tank, or having a custom type 1 tank made to either mount in the spare tire location or possibly where my exhaust is now and relocating the (freaking gigantic) muffler which would be like the oobs dual tank setups (in my head at least)
The other option injector wise would be a 6.0 engine upgrade which I had put some thought into a while back, my company truck fleet is 90% bi fuel with those motors and they seem to run very well. Will a 6.0 truck run on a 411 pcm? Im assuming id need that pcm at a bare minimum for the cng conversion since it allows for much better fuel curves etc.
Thoughts ideas and criticisms welcome!
