Hey NBS guys,

I'm working on a hot rod project and was wanting some input on the coil near plug coil packs in your trucks. Is there a particular one that's better than the others? I'm wanting some stock ones, not $650 MSD packs.

I'm looking at these, they have the aluminum heat sinks on the bottom. Basically, they just have to have a logic level input and built in ignitors.

That sucks about the msd ones catching fire. I hadn't heard that, but assume the dwell time was set too high or something.

After doing a little research, the ones I posted up (with the aluminum heatsinks) that come on trucks and SUV's are the best since they have a higher spark output than the others.

I will be buying those.
