I have the Volant with the vmax plenum spacer and it just about fits under the stock hood. You can see a shiny spot on the intake tube at the top of the curve where it rubs against the hood liner.

I think that the Volant is much better because of the enclosed filter box. Just my 2c :)

Im just running an eddlebrock cleaner:) and those red wires are his spark plug wires

Orange lines were from a water injection system I was designing. I have since removed it but will redesign when I get a blower put on. I put up a website to explain it all www.alkymethinjection.com. I don't answer emails from there cause people were trying to do stupid things and I didn't want to be responsible. But if you have any general questions, I can answer them here.

Hey phone man... Haven't seen much activity from u lately good 2 see ur still around...

I have the k&n cai and i think it gets the job done... I like the look of the volant and seems like it's the right ticket... But if sunlit says its no good, well then its no good... plus not CA legal... Theres also another company the has a cool set up just down the street from sunlit... http://www.sbfilters.com/vehicle_finder?year=1998 standby for sunlits approval...
