OKAY, I have been having a problem with my vehicle starting in the morning or after it sits for a while. Turns over but acts like its not getting gas or fire. Also noticed when going down the interstate, when under load it kind of sputters. thought it might be the ignition coil so I replaced it today and still having start problem after it sits for a while. I also replaced plugs, wires, cap, and rotor button, fuel filter(about 5 months ago). The fuel pump comes on and runs as it should and I checked the fuel pressure, its around 45-50 psi and held pressure when turned off. I am pissed off and frustrated and would like to drive my tahoe off a cliff. Any ideas on what else it could be because I am at a loss!

It is a 1997 Tahoe LT 4x4 5.7 ltr

Don't drive it off a cliff, you will have a much bigger problem if you do that. Well you can rule out the ignition except for the ignition module, you may want to replace that now instead of some nite in the middle of the winter. I have not had this exact problem but a flood of info will be coming your way soon I'm sure. Maybe another fuel filter just to rule that out, Walmart should have a fram for your truck. Unless I missed it list the model and year of your truck ok. JT
