Hi everyone, I'm researching camshafts for my 2004 Tahoe LS 5.3L.
I already have a full exhaust, a K&N cai, stock 17" rims.

I'm not really trying to race or do anything like that.
More looking for a nice cammed idle and some low down performance.

I know the lower LSA is the answer to getting the choppy idle.
This is the cam I'm looking at but it seems to be pretty aggressive. http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/cam-specs/Details.aspx?csid=1440&sb=2

I'm open to suggestions and appreciate the feedback!
Thanks, Chris.

Fair high RPM power, no bottom end torque, lumpy idle, hi stahl convertor needed. Not worth a poop for a heavy SUV.

Comp Cams has several nice cams for low end in LS engines. I would check out the LSR line of cams....54-455-11

Nice, that looks real good.

Funny, because I totally didn't see that LSR link when browsing all their cams.
Derp-Derp

For the $$ this looks like a decent package deal:

Will the stock rockers work alright?
