I cannot seem to find an AC Delco Iridium part number to replace the original platinum plugs (41-974) in our '03 Yukon, 5.3 L engine. We are at the 100k mile service and would like to upgrade to the iridium plugs. Thanks for any help/advice.

Thank you for your help. I did see where double platinum is an upgrade from the original single platinum. But, the local GM dealer said they install iridium plugs. Assuming they use GM parts, I was trying to locate Delco's compatible iridium plugs. Maybe it is only available for late model Tahoe/Yukons perhaps with a slight engine modification.

Thank you for your help. I checked this Delco iridium plug (41-110) at a few parts sites, but they all say this plug will not fit our '03 Yukon 5.3 L engine. Maybe it is only for newer engines.

It fits.
The 974 & 985 were all superceded by 110. Later to save costs, they started listing the 962 platinum. Use the 110.

Also, to save you the trouble now, they changed the gap. The 110 will come pregapped at .04. Don't try to change it, just check them before install.

GREAT! Thanks so much for your help and useful info. Sounds like the 110 is the way to go.
