I did a search, and only got back three hits, none of which were remotely relevant. So I'm guessing I'm searching the wrong key words, or it's called something different here....
Engine rebuild...planning down the road.... I came across a website that sells the 5.3 delivered for $2399 (long block)...5 year warranty. I know my buddy just spent about that and more when we rebuilt his 5.3 and he didn't replace everything (not my idea). And no warranty.
So might be the better money spent. Especially when you can turn around and sell your existing long block for a cheap builder and reclaim some coin.
Anyway, they also sell the 6.0 for a few hundred more. So I was curious if any of you know if the 6.0 computer is compatible with our 5.3 via a tune or not. Or even if the computer is swappable on the same harness?
