Yup, I'm a gonna put rocker switches up there too. But I also have no clue how to run wires up there without tearing apart the headliner.

And then I'm thinking that if i've already got the headliner apart then I might as well put in the cab lights at the same time. I'm closely watching The Big Blue Bus's Cab Lights thread.

I ran the wires behind the drivers side pillar and under the front of the headliner.

did you buy that plate premolded for the gauges or did you do it yourself? i had thought of doing that but didn't know if they would fit correctly.

So You Just Tucked The Wires In At The Edge Where The Liner Meets The Window ? I Was Think About The But Seemed Pretty Tight And I Didnt Want To Mess My Headliner Up And Have It Eventually Start To Sag Or Hang ...That Looks Really Good By The Way I Like That A lot !

I didn't seperate the material from the headliner if that's what you mean? It's flexible enough to where you won't hurt it tucking a few wires underneath along the front.

I made it with the stock panel and a little fiberglass. 2 1/16 gauges fit perfect, any bigger and they wouldn't work without cutting the actual console. SoCal Diesel sells an aluminum panel that has a place for 2 gauges and 2 switches but I would recommend making it yourself for what they cost. The good thing about fiberglass is if you screw up just slap some more resin and fiberglass mat on there and start over.

I put 2 cigarette lighters there…. 1 I use for my amber light that’s on the roof for plowing in the winter.
The other is a spare.
