Convert to turbo diesel?

Does anyone have a Tahoe with the 6.5L turbo diesel I hear about every time I go to a parts store? I've never seen one and never heard of one who actually has one
Has anyone traded their 5.7 Vortec for a diesel?
Granted, doing this is just pipe dreams, but wouldn't it be bad ass to have a turbo diesel 2-Door? I think it would. But then again, so would stuffing something like a 572 into the engine bay.

What all would it take to swap for a diesel power plant?

I have never seen a Tahoe with the Turbo Diesel, burbs with them are common though. I bet the diesel option came in the work trucks with the nasty black old school grills tho. A swap would be sick I agree.

It's like the old school "K5" Blazers ... the naming convention itself says it's 4wd but they list 2wd apps in the stores. LOL

I have heard of diesel Tahoes ... never saw one in person though.

a guy called ARVEETEC on here has a 2 door 6.5 diesel. (on the thread- Remember Your First Day With Her).
