I am leaking coolant from the radiator, doesnt appear to be a hose or anything else, pretty sure it is from the radiator. A few questions I have are what is difference between the 2 row and 1 row? Also, would any of the aluma-seal things work in there? I have heard the Bars Leak stuff can gum up a system, but what about the other stuff?

I know I should just replace the radiator, but has anyone tried any stop-leak that worked well?

Radiators in my area are between 200-230 from the parts stores, havent check junk yards yet.

You don't wnat a junk yard radiator ...

I've had stop leak work for me more then once. I've used it as a band-aid before, not for a long term solution.

more rows more cooling capacity. radiator core will be thicker. Never got a sealer to work on any car yet.

Buy a new one. No junk yards.

So I got a hold of some junk yards and one place has 3 that are still in the vehicles and they want 125 for one. So I have no idea what shape it is in. They said I would have to go and pay, then they take it out. Sounds crappy to me.

Is there a big difference between these brands, Spectra from AutoZone, Ready-Rad from Advance Auto Parts, Murray from O'Reily, or Spectra from Napa? They all are 199 each.

Also can I go 1 row, or should I go with 2 rows?

They all sound like rebranded house lines. The rows must match the original or have more. You can't go from a 2 to 1 row without consequences. tell the store weather you have a/c, type of tranny, engine oil cooler and such and they will provide the correct one. If they have a lifetime warranty then save your reciept when you get it. you should be fine.

Well got the NAPA one installed this weekend. Went easy as can be. Also, my heater is working great now. I am thinking with the leak I was losing pressure to the heater core? None-the-less I can actually defrost my windshield now, and keep my feet warm!
