I did the SLP Resonator delete a couple of months back and contrary to what others have reported, I'm getting some drone on the highway at speeds of 65 mph and above. I guess there is just enough load on the engine at higher speeds to produce the drone. I don't mind hearing it under acceleration around town but not the constant drone on trips even though it is not loud.

I'm thinking of going with with the Corsa Catback either Touring or Sport. After searching here and the net I've read that the Corsa has no drone but I'm thinking you can still hear the Sport at Interstate speeds and the AFM V4 mode even though it may not be considered "drone". Can anyone confirm? How about the Touring? Can you even hear the Touring over stock under light to moderate acceleration around town. I'm looking for some sound around town but quiet on trips.

no drone. Corsa Sport is louder and throaty, Touring is alot smoother and still noticeable.

If I were you, I'd run the Touring. I have had both. Wife has Sport on her Burban, I had Touring on my 06 Silverado, and I am putting Touring on my new truck as well.

Even though this is in the NNBS section, I have the Corsa Sport on my NBS and it is great-can't really comment on 4CYL mode since I don't have it ;) I will say that the sport definitely has a bark to it-borderline raspy at WOT but I like it. There is no drone on the highway--you can have a conversation with no issues and there is no need to turn up the radio to try to drown out the drone...... I listened to clips on youtube of both the Sport and Touring-the Touring sounded too close to stock and for the $$$ you spend on the catback system-I wanted to hear a difference. Not sure how the sound differs from the 5.7 to the 6.0 to the 6.2 but I have the 6 liter in my Denali. The fit and finish of the system is good-I put mine on solo in the garage on jackstands :D

Good luck with your choice-either way you will be happy.....

I loved the Touring on my Tahoe. If I ever change out the exhaust on the Nali, will be for a Touring again.

Thanks for the replys. They are helpful but I'm still not sure whether to get Sport or Touring but I'm leaning towards the Touring. I understand neither Corsa has drone but since drone and exhaust sound are two different things, I would also like to know if you can hear any exhaust SOUND compared to stock from either one at a constant highway speed? What about light to moderate acceleration in town? Again, I like a some sound for city driving since this is my daily driver but quiet on the highway for trips with the family. I don't want to make a $800 mistake. BTW I have a 2011 Tahoe.

They are pretty much the same exhaust. Iirc, the only difference is 1 resonator, or something like that. I've also heard that Corsa is the supplier for GM Accessories and there is no difference, except price. I could be wrong though. Hopefully somebody will confirm or deny this. Imo, touring is the way to go because it is quieter. That's why I am going with touring when I pick up my exhaust.

I don't think the difference is in the number of resonators but in the packing in the mufflers. Resonance or drone only occurs at certain frequencies and RPM's and is different than exhaust sound.

I don't think GM Performance Parts has a catback system anymore at least not for the NNBS Tahoes and Yukons. I have searched and couldn't find one.

They were a long time ago. No longer the supplier. Magnaflow and Gibson have since replaced them for GM Accessory, just not sure who it is now, but definetly not Corsa anymore.
