On my 01 tahoe there are 2 light sensors on the dash do they both control the headlights? My headlights don't come on automatically either and the doors don't lock automatically after putting it in gear. Really need some input on this trying to get everything sorted out since my woman is driving it. The passenger interior door lock sticks a little bit is there a way to lube it up?

Yes the little black domes are the sensors for the lights. If your driving and then it becomes dark sometimes it takes a little while for it to sense it. If it's dark when you start it and the don't come on I'm not sure what would cause your lights to stay off when it's dark enough. As for the door locks engaging when you put it in gear, that's a setting you can change. Look in your owners manual for how to do it. You can set it to lock/unlock when you put in in gear/park. I believe you can also have it set up so it will lock when you start to move and unlock when you shut the vehicle off.

Ok I will check the owners manual when I get home. I guess I'll prob replace both of the sensors and start narrowing it down from there.
