Buying a set of 17x9 Cragar Soft 8 Wheels.

What size center caps should I choose guys?!

3.300

4.250

or 5.125?

I love the center caps they give the wheel the correct final touch.

How far will the 5.125 stick out? To much? Would the 4.250 be good? The offset is 0 on the wheels. I've heard theres other center caps besides these that'll fit these wheels where they at!?

I the offset is 0 they are going to stick way out the side, but Im pretty sure thats the look you want?
I would go with the middle sized center caps.

i just got mine today actually. Your better with 17x8 4.5 back space. i test fit it and it stuck out a little more than my oe 20. Im throwing winter tires on them so i wont mind. Your going to need a 4.25, I know for a fact because i ordered the 3.3 and its way to small. Called summit racing and verified the correct part which is CRR-29271-1

Another option that would be significantly cheaper....

Find an extra set of work truck wheels or use the ones you have and paint them black. If you do a good job prepping and painting and use the right kind of paint it will last a heck of a long time and look great. Yes, it's more work than buying a new set of Cragars but the cost difference is significant.

If you go to a Chevy dealership they probably have a huge pile of work truck wheels that they've pulled off throughout the last few years. The dealerships around here do, anyway.

I didn't find that out until I bought my set off Craigslist....but I still only paid $75 for the whole damn set.

Just a thought....

well i missed the pic that you have a truck and i have a tahoe. Id rather it be not sticking past the wheel well and flinging rocks and dirt over mud sides.

2elo, I agree with you man and they look nearly the same but the actual dimensions of the wheel I don't like (17x7.5) with an offset of like 5?

And Sumo, yeah I know ha pretty sad I'm on the tahoeyukon forum with the silverado right ha. The trucks a 4x4 with fender flares and lifted so naturally in my eyes, needs to have the tires/wheels sticken out.
