Crazy blinker problem

ok guys yester day my blinkers went crazy on me. if i hit the left blinker when the lights are off the hazzard lights come one. the right blinker i get hyper flash. went i turn the lights on the parking light indicators come on inside and the left blinker dose nothing. the right is still hyper flash. all the bulbs are lighting up and i replaced the blinker flasher this morning! any one ever had this happen?

You're gonna have to replace the cruise/hazard/turn signal/wiper multi-switch in your steering column to correct that issue. I replaced mine a few years ago - nothing terrible, just takes a little time.

It can be done at home by the DIYer with a few tools rented/purchased from your local parts house and following these two videos (parts/tools are listed in video):

Give yourself a few hours to avoid the frustration associated with rushing through something.

Cliffnotes version: disconnect battery, remove air bag, remove steering wheel, remove old multi-switch, install new multi-switch, install steering wheel, install air bag, reconnect battery.

it was bad plugs that the bulbs go in ....... cut them off and replaced them - G2G

When did you do the fix. Getting that info when you did it would have been nice. 10/08 to now, you fixed during that time and did you fix just this morning? I was going to say check the grounds and maybe that would have led to the socket problems but the hyper flash at the right was a clue. Please post when fixed.
