I sit here and look at my lowered Tahoe now and just got another crazy idea...

How hard would it be to convert that over to All Wheel Drive? Would it be as easy as grabbing all the stuff off my buddies AWD Astro he's junking cause it got rear-ended, or is there a lot more to it? I don't recall seeing any posts on it, but it was just thought on something I may do...If it can even be done.

Why not go 2wd and save the weight? Or since you are in pa stay as is and put the cash into another mod?

I just went from AWD to 2wd. I sold my transmission, transfer case, front diff and drivelines. it covered the cost of building my trans and finding a 2wd rear driveline. I spent about 6-7 hrs doing the swap.
