Cruise control issue

Weirdest thing happened. Read some threads about fixing my cruise control and needing to replace the brake switch. I know nothing about car mechanics but figured I would see if I could find it based on a thread I read. I found a switch with only one plug connected to my brake. I decided to uplug it and plug it back in to see what happened and wa-la, cruise control works! But every time its set and I hit a bump it unsets it. Anyone else have this problem and is there anything I can do to fix it?

Sounds like a wire problem? If you have warranty remaining that should be fixed by the dealer no problem.

Nah bought it used last month with 58k miles. I asked them to install a factory back up camera and they told me they don't to get involved bc I have an aftermarket camera that came with the truck. So basically they're telling me they don't want my business bc someone else installed an aftermarket part.
