morning yall.
SO yesterday i changed out the the cruise control brake switch that is on the pedal as i lost cruise a little bit ago. when i installed the new one and went to test it out i could not shift the truck out of park. As soon as i remove i am able to shift and drive the vehicle like nothing happened. I have a few 8+ hr drives coming up and cruise is pretty much needed. anyone have any ideas?
ive thought about maybe a bad unit but idk and seeing how i snapped part of the bracket removing it i cant return it so i want to limit the amount of these i have to buy. could it be a simple fuse thats not allowing this? which i find weird as i can shift when its not plugged in. Thanks in advance.
