Cruise control not working. Break lights and 3rd light are working. Help!

Hey guys,

I just noticed that my Cruise Control is not working. No light on the dash, and it does not engage.
I did a search, and ALL of my brake lights DO work...is there something else I need to check?
Is there a CC cable under the hood that I should check to see if it is attached?
I am leaving on vacation (driving) Friday, and need cruise to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks SO much!

Mine was the same way. The brake switch fixed mine. Easy 20-30 minute job. Got mine from Oreilly for <$20. AC Delco

Did you figure out if your brake switch was the problem?

You need a load resistor. Did you add led tail lights or any led lights in rear? After i did my led tails, my cruise, and remote starter atopped. Lemme search my computer and i can get you the size and its a piece o cake to wire in
