Did the obvious and pulled fuse #6 and replaced to no avail...

So it must be a problem with either the Multistick, the brake switch, or cruise control motor/unit itself?

The brake switch was replaced a while back, so I am guessing but not convinced that it is not the culprit.

I am thinking it might be the multistick, as the "coast" end button appeared to be stuck when I first noticed the problem. But does anyone have a meter test procedure to check for proper multistick cruise control switching operation???

I'll bet the part is ridiculously expen$ive new...

Thanks.

Did you check the brake light switch? Very common problem and if the switch needs to be replaced, it's only about $25 or so.

I was going to suggest the same thing, but wasn't sure if it was a common issue in the pre 07 models.

Thank's for the info. It's working again. Problem looks intermittent for now.
