Ok,, its been a while since posting on here. Had some life changing events. Lost an 8 year upper management job. Man its hard to replace that income.
Now doing some corrosion control inspection work in the heavy industry field. Can you say watch paint dry,,, hahaha. Thats what I do, a little more involved than that. But, it is starting to replace the income.
Ok, I was hot and heavy onto updating my Tahoe. Just an 88 2Dr you can see my sig for details. Since loss of my job the A/C has quit and the cruise control stopped. Got the A/C figured out, compressor. Only the 3rd one in 230,000 miles.
Now onto the cruise. I drive like 160 miles a day. Yes I know its not economical. But, hey .54$ per mile and a flat rate daily for work. Well the cruise worked fine then it started cutting off on my and would not turn back on. A day or 2 later it will work fine for a vew days, mabye even weeks and then quit. That went on for 6 months.
Now it just will not work. So, any suggestions where to start? Or should I just look for another cruise control module? If you drive this kind of mileage per day you really enjoy cruise. The chevy was very convenient even though its not on the steering wheel, but works well.
