Cruise Control.

My Cruise control quit today it would stay on and kick out and finally didn't even engage. How do I repair this. Is it the switch or a module under the hood. Please help with some advice.

Have you tried checking all of your fuses in your truck, every single one of them? I had some CC problems some years back and whenever that would go out my 3rd brake light wouldn't work either and it ended up being a random fuse that was marked for something else!

As for replacement, I haven't had to do it yet but pretty sure it's the whole windshield wiper lever assembly in the dash! Check your fuses first!

Also check to make sure your brake lights are working. if the brake light switch isn't functioning properly it may cause a problem with CC.

Did you change your tail lights out?

Also check the brake booster. My cruise went out and within days my brake booster had a pin hole leak. Replaced it and my cruise came back.
