Ok so I have no cruise control and my tail light brake lights are not working ,, but the brake light above my rear gate is working ? This seems really odd to me

Did you by chance install led bulbs in the front turn signals lately?

Never knew this. Thanks for updating!
Same thing if you put LED bulbs in your tail lights, CC won’t work. Now what’s weird is I installed switchback LED’s in my FRONT turn signals on my 02 and my main brake lights quit which were Spider LED’s. The third brake light was the only one working. I wouldn’t have even known if another driver hadn’t told me. I was troubleshooting for a long time and couldn’t figure it out and thought wtf, last thing I did was swap the front turns so I swapped in regular bulbs and the brake lights worked. I ended up having to put load resistors on the front turn signal circuits. I’m thinking that the brake lights interrupt the rear turn signal filaments and the rear turns are tied to the fronts. Something messed with the computer with too many LED ‘s.

This, I can comprehend.

This, I can not. But it's good to know the circuits are connected. I'll be sure to check ALL my lights after I mod any of 'em.
