I was having the issue of the typical hard start after my 99 Tahoe would sit for a couple of hours. I was going to just replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator until I saw that doing this conversion was pretty much the same process. So far the truck seems to run a little better, not sure about the gas mileage yet, but hopefully it has gone up a little. Me and a buddy of mine did the entire swap from start to finish in about 3 hours.
