Custom exhaust work

I had the dual exit exhaust kit from flowmaster. I lowered my truck and ran into some clearance issues because of the way the pipe is run over the axle. I ended up cutting the pipes right in front of the axle. Now it louder and there's lots of drone. Will adding a tip with a down turn hel with the sound and the drone since it's not shooting straight out to the axle?

Honestly it'll probably be just as loud if not louder inside. I had mine dumped at the muffler w/ a couple turn downs right underneath the front passenger & the drone was insane.

Might have to get a quieter muffler if you can't run pipes/tips to behind the axle although any muffler shop should be able to do it
