im thinking about installing an eq in my 2000 yukon to compliment the sound system. the location i want to use is where the stock cassette player sits at the bottom of the dash/console. my question is, are there any 1 din dash kits that converts the 1 din into a half din so the eq will fit or are there any 1 din eq's out there. and if there are 1 din eq's, which kit would i need to intall it? also give me your suggestions on where else i could install the eq, with pics please.

Best Kits makes a pocket to replace the stock cassette, but it isnt going to be wide enough for an EQ. If you really want to put it there, you are going to have to modify the dash. You could always go with the regular dash kit for that truck that has an EQ opening built right in.

i think that replacement pocket would work great all id have to do is figure a way to keep the eq in it. maybe use some velcro patches or something, thanks for the links
