Dash Volt Meter indication

So after about 4000 miles (on my new to me 2011 LTZ) I have noticed that the volt meter on the dash hangs out at about 13 volts and occasionally is > 14. From what I read in a single post in this forum, that is normal but I couldn't confirm it anywhere else, so, is this normal for voltage to indicate 14 to 14+ when started and then hang around at the 12.75 volt range (meter is 9-19, it hangs in the middle of the 11.5-14 v mark).

and... is this an NNBS vehicle, how do I know?
