Dashboard airbag outline

I really think this is a non issue, but that's me. Be thankful it's not two pieces like NBS or NNBS. Wife's 2016 Audi shows an easy outline around it as well, and no I don't notice it or care.

I have a 15 and noticed it as well. I have also noticed a pronounced bubble starting to appear. I went to the dealer and was told, sorry out of warranty, got the same response from another dealer. I purchased my 15 suburban for looks, style and the roominess, Not many choices that offer the things that I desired. I have always loved the GM suv line up. I am not pleased but I have to be honest I would still probably purchase another. Its all about the botton line. I love mine but, GM s customer service is lackluster at best. Its like everything else some dealers are better than others.

I realize this issue and thread is a number of years old, however, has anyone had any luck getting to the bottom of the problem and then a solution? I have the exact same issue, prominent imprint and raised outline of the passenger airbag on my dashboard, however the main difference is my vehicle is a 2016 Mazda CX-5. I came across this thread while searching for answers after being shut down by my dealership as well. Just hoping someone has heard some consumer positive results stemming from the issue.
