Hey y'all!
So, I'm getting used to my new-to-me 2001 Tahoe... and LOVIN' IT! (Two whole days now! :))
As with any vehicle that has gone 211,000+ miles, and being the third owner, I totally expected to have a few sniglets to deal with. Nothing severe, mind you, just a fix here and there.

I've read through the repair thread on the Cabin Air Temperature Air Aspirator, and I believe that won't be too difficult for me to repair or replace. The forum members who posted the instructions were awesome, and I'm certain I can dig into that as soon as the new parts arrive. ($27.78 each from Amazon)

Next, I would like to tackle replacing the dashboard lighting; the illumination is out on the stereo - except for the LED display - and the rest of the ambient lighting is pretty dim, even with the adjuster turned all the way up. Has anyone tackled this, and was it a total pain in the arse? Or is it relatively straightforward? If there is already a thread on this, please just send me a link to it, and I'll get to work.

The gauge lights are decent enough at night, but could be brighter.

I also have intermittent "Check Engine" and "Parking Brake" indicator lights that stay on when driving. The parking brake is not on, and the vehicle's service has been kept up.

There are a few other items which will require attention in the near future, but absolutely nothing that can't wait until time and $moolah$ allow.

Thanks guys! And thanks for a great forum. Y'all seem like a bunch who help one another a lot without a whole SUV-load of crap I've experienced on other vehicle forums.
