There's a really clean pearl-colored Sierra not far from my house that has some chrome 22" CK375s. I saw the truck and owner at the local gas station so I inquired about them. He says he's not interested in replacing the tires and will be putting his stock 20s back on it soon. He said to look around and see what they're going for and make him a fair offer and we'll go from there. They're aftermarket, but have no curb rash and the chrome is in great condition: no pitting, discoloring, major scratches, etc. He's an older guy that seemed to take care of his stuff. They'll need tires, so I'm focusing just on the value of the wheels. Also, he's a local Sheriff's officer, so I'm definitely wanting to be very fair and not lowball- I'm always for making good contacts with the local authority.

Any idea what I should offer?

Yeah, $950ish to $1200ish is the range I've been seeing the aftermarket ones go for new. I know wheels aren't like car audio where damned-near anything mainstream sells for about 50% of it's original value, but I didn't know just how much they depreciate. I was originally thinking around $800, but will probably offer $700. I'll see if he'll take us for a ride to see if there's any considerable shaking, maybe even jack up the truck and give 'em a spin and eyeball 'em. Of course, maybe by the time I have the extra cash for them, I may be able to come up with a few hundred extra and get some brand new. Buuuut, if I'm ever to that point, I'll be looking into the other style of OEM wheel (of which I can't find the "CK" number).

Thanks for the feedback, and more is always welcome.
