It was really hot today so I decided to debadge the 'Hoe.
The 'hoe had been in the sun all morning so the tape was soft/loose. I used the corner of an old credit card to pull up on the edge of the letters and then just pulled them off.
I used Turtle Wax label remover to get rid of the tape that was left.
It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Just spray on, wait 2-3 mins, wipe off. I didn't have to use any more pressure than I would on a stubborn stain while washing it. Took 4-5 applications per letter. About an hour later, both sides looked like this:
Now this is a 2007 Tahoe, so I have a lil ghosting if I get the angle just right:
What's the best way to get rid of this?
Overall I'm really pleased with the way it looks and plan on doing the back and taking off the side moldings as well.
Thanks!
