Been going back and fourth on weather or not to lower my 05 Yukon or lift it. Lowering it costs a lot let but I never really understood the point of lowering an suv. Don't get me wrong it looks great, but I do like going camping and i would be afraid to after I lower it. What amount of drop would you guys recommend and what brand. I'm totally out of my world inthe lowering aspect of things, I'm a four wheeling guy who is used to quads and jeeps. Also, I already have 275/60R20s on the Kon now... With this be an issue??? Thanks any advice and/suggestions would be great.... HAPPY FOURTH EVERYONE!!

Looks like you've at least leveled the front up already? Dropping is easy. Two people/two hours if you do a simple 2/3. Just springs, keys and shocks. Others who do the same type of drop say that if you throw in some helper bag in the back, you can still tow things. As far as the tire size, I'm not sure. Might be a tight fit.

If you keep your drop mild like a 2/3 or 2/4 you can still take it camping without issues and it's not that expensive.

Thanks NorCal, that kit looks just like what I would need. I like the fact it comes with spindles instead of keys. Would you know though with that kit will my 275/60r20 fit or will they rub

Good that's my biggest issue with doing it just because I just bought those wheels and tires and don't want to have to go smaller. Did you have any issues with turning or going over bumper after??
