Truck is a 06 yukon xl 1500 2wd. Really torn between a 6.5" lift or bagging it. I rather bag it but dont wanna cut the floor. So it will prolly look goofy as hell. I was told I could lay without cutting into the floor but dont see that happening with 26's. From what I measured frame will be about 5 " from laying out.

anyone have a build thread where they didnt cut floor. I found one but ir was BOA.

You're planning to lift a 2WD.... No, bag it.

To bag it doesn't mean you have to cut the floor and do a ton of fabrication. NathanJax and others have a very simple system that allows their tires/wheels to be totally tucked but still have space to drive if their compressor goes out or lift up the truck if they have a flat.

Most defiantly bag it!! I seen lifted 2wd rigs and it don't look right IMO. But a slammed 2wd is sexy if done right

Bag it without cutting too much at first and see how you like it. If you want more then go lower. But DO NOT lift a 2wd...
