Decranking front keys

The front of my Tahoe sits around an inch higher then the rear, someone said you can try decranking the front keys to bring it down a lil bit, thats an ok thing to do? Wont effect anything else aslong as u dont go lower then 3"?

your 95 has keys?

The lower/higher you go, the worse the ride will be. 1" should be fine, but I wouldn't go any more than that. If you need to go more, put 2" drop spindles on and then crank the keys up a little

Norcal SS said it has the keys its 4wd if it matters, id be happy dropping it down an inch

yes the 4x4 has keys. He can decrank the stock ones to see if that gets him where he wants. If not you will need drop keys

you can but i would be concern why the rear is so low. i would not go down three inches either.

The front is about an inch higher then the back, I think the leafs have sagged, still rides good, no cracks etc. down the road ill replace them, everything else checks out
